Plaee ↗
White-label prediction-market and sweepstakes platform, with CRM and a data platform behind it.
Grew R&D from a handful of developers to ~20, and built the platform with them.
Joined with a legacy PHP codebase, no live brands, and no engineering standards. Designed a modern multi-brand platform to replace it and built the team to ship it: ~20 people across backend, frontend, DevOps, and QA automation, with team leads I hired and mentored.
Set the engineering standards and code-review culture, introduced Claude Code and AI-assisted development across the team, and built the CRM (segmentation and monetization engines) and the data platform on Airbyte, a warehouse, and Superset.

Affiliate network for the Plaee ecosystem: tracking, attribution, and payouts for partner traffic.
Built the whole affiliate network from scratch, solo.
Designed and built the affiliate platform end to end, from data model and tracking through the partner-facing dashboards, integrated with Plaee brands. Owned the technical delivery myself, with one additional offshore developer later dedicated to it.

Prop-trading firm for forex and stocks. The platform around the trading systems: onboarding, accounts, evaluations, payouts, and admin.
Rebuilt the platform and migrated 100K+ users.
Planned and rebuilt a single platform serving both businesses, designed to connect to any trading system behind it, with an admin hub to run everything. Recruited engineering, product, and design, brought in an outsourced DevOps team, and led the cloud migration on an Nx monorepo.
Built the company's data pipeline with Fivetran, BigQuery, and Metabase.

From first developer to VP R&D: built the product and its engineering team.
Joined as the first developer and built the product from the ground up. Advanced to VP R&D, responsible for development, product, and design; recruited and led the engineering team and outsourced DevOps.
Established coding standards and code reviews, and helped the company achieve SOC 2 compliance.

How I build today
I'm still hands-on across the stack. AI tools are part of my daily workflow, Claude Code in the editor included, and I've introduced the same practices to the teams I lead. Some of what I build is AI-powered, like ShortsNinja's generation pipeline; most of it is conventional software that has to stay up.
What hasn't changed: architecture decisions, code reviews, tests, and owning what runs in production.
